Christopher Daniel Gibbs, 36, of McMinnville, a front-seat passenger in a 1999 Chevy Cavalier driven by 39-year-old Carol Ann Tipton of McMinnville, was trapped and had to be extricated by members of the Smithville Volunteer Fire Department after this collision Sunday afternoon. Corporal Travis Bryant of the Smithville Police Department told the Review that Gibbs was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital after a two-vehicle crash in front of Jewel's Market on South Congress Boulevard.
