Woman injured in collision

A 59-year-old local woman was seriously injured Monday evening when her Oldsmobile left the highway and struck a tree near Hurricane Bridge just after 7 p.m. Trooper Jeremy Wilhite of the Tennessee Highway Patrol told the Review that Belinda Rose Williams was traveling toward Smithville in a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue when she failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the left side of the road and into a tree.
