Funeral services for Chester Ray Donn, 81, of Smithville, were held Feb. 18 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Steve Officer officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens with military honors. Mr. Donn passed away Feb. 15 at DeKalb Community Hospital emergency room. He worked in a nursery and served in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean conflict.
